One person, a small apartment, nothing sponsored.

Cat furniture that looks like furniture.

I love my cat. I did not love the beige plastic litter box wrecking a room I’d spent months getting right. So I went looking for the stuff that doesn’t — and I write up what I find here.

Cat trees, wall shelves, litter enclosures, feeders. Judged on whether they’d survive in a room you actually care about.

Why this site exists

Most cat gear is designed like nobody has to look at it. Carpet the color of a rental hallway, a litter box that announces itself from across the room.

I only write up pieces I’d consider for my own place. Every one of them is researched rather than lived with — owner reviews read for patterns, cross-checked against the maker’s specs — and I’d rather tell you that than pretend. The annoying parts go in either way. A review that hides them isn’t worth reading.

Room first. Cat always.
